As AKC Evaluators, we are qualified to assess and award certifications in programs such as Canine Good Citizen, STAR Puppy, Urban Canine, and Tricks. Additionally, we are proud members of the Association of Professional Dog Trainers (APDT), which ensures our commitment to ethical, science-based training practices. Each of our trainers brings different certifications and specialties to the team, including advanced qualifications in areas such as Dog & Baby Safety, CPDT-KA (Certified Professional Dog Trainer – Knowledge Assessed), and more. Important Information:

• Completing your registration (application form and payment) is required to reserve your lesson — we cannot hold dates/times without it.
• You will receive a confirmation from Crown Dog Training once your lesson is booked.

We accept Zelle, Venmo, and Credit Card (credit card payments include a 3% processing fee). All invoices are sent via text for quick and convenient payment.

For your private lesson, please have your dog’s favorite treats ready. It’s also helpful to have a quiet space where we can focus on training without distractions. We kindly ask that you refrain from feeding your dog 2-3 hours before the session to ensure they’re motivated to work for treats. Your trainer will also bring a variety of healthy treat samples for you to try during the session. If there are specific behaviors or issues you’d like to work on, jot them down so we can address them. Most importantly, come ready to learn and have fun with your dog!

We understand that schedules can change. We kindly ask that you give us a 24-hour notice if you must cancel or reschedule a lesson. Cancellations made less than 24 hours in advance and any “no-shows” will be charged 100% of the services booked.

Unused Private Training sessions and packages will expire 3 months from the initial lesson date.

Training takes time, patience, and consistency. Every dog and owner has unique goals, so we tailor each session to meet your specific needs. While every dog learns at their own pace and there's no guaranteed timeline, we focus on helping your dog make progress as quickly as possible. If you consistently apply the techniques we teach, you'll see positive changes in your dog’s behavior. After the initial lesson and evaluation, your trainer will provide a more personalized estimate on how long the training process may take.
