Crown Dog Training was established in 2014 in Miami, FL with a dedication to creating a positive, enriching learning environment for dogs and their owners. Our approach is inspired by the special bond between humans and their canine companions, focusing on offering training that not only addresses behavioral challenges but also enhances this unique relationship.
Kristen DeLima, who founded Crown Dog Training, brought her extensive background in psychology and years of experience training a variety of animal species. Kristen’s rich experience and knowledge allowed her to build a unique dog training company built on science-based methodology.
Over the years, Crown Dog Training has grown into a team of passionate and experienced trainers dedicated to making a positive impact on the lives of dogs and their owners. Our numerous milestones reflect our commitment to excellence and our love for dogs, establishing us as a respected and trusted name in the dog training community.

Kristen holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology with a minor in Psychology, marking the start of her journey in animal training and her passion for educating the public on animal behavior. She is a Certified Professional Dog Trainer – Knowledge Assessed (CPDT-KA), an AKC Canine Good Citizen Evaluator, and a proud member of the Association of Professional Dog Trainers (APDT).
Her extensive career began with training dolphins, sea lions, penguins, birds, manatees, and other species, where she developed advanced skills in animal behavior, learning theory, and positive reinforcement techniques. After transitioning from working as a Dolphin Trainer to the dog training industry, Kristen founded Crown Dog Training to bring her wealth of knowledge and unique perspective to dogs and their owners.
Kristen specializes in reward-based training methods that are scientifically proven to enhance communication and strengthen the human-animal bond. She is deeply committed to educating owners on the benefits of positive reinforcement, ensuring that training is both fun and effective. Since childhood, Tiely has had a special connection with all animals, especially dogs, whom she believes are remarkable, loyal, and loving companions. Following her passion for working with canines, she has accumulated over a decade of training experience. Known for her patience and skill, Tiely strives to make the best training decisions for every dog.
Tiely has collaborated with veterinarians on specialized behavior techniques to promote force-free and stress-free care for their furry patients. She brings expertise and enthusiasm to her training and finds creative ways to incorporate obedience into her fun-filled sessions. Her mission is to make training an enjoyable and rewarding experience for both dogs and their owners.

I started training my corgi puppy Rex when he was 2 months. Tiara from Crown Dog Training was amazing. Friendly, professional and highly knowledgeable. Our sessions where very instructive and helpful in creating good habits for Rex and especially for me and my Family in understanding how to motivate and reward him for them. Tiara was always available after session via text or phone to help troubleshoot my own mistakes in training. I can say she is a true dog whisperer!
Tiely was a godsend. We tried group classes elsewhere but it was not cutting it. My dog would bark 24/7 and did not want to walk on leash. Tiely didn’t only train my dog, she trained me! I now have the tools to understand why my dog was acting the way she was and how to correct the behavior. I can’t say enough good things about how much she helped, and my puppy is happier, healthier, and well behaved. In addition to her help with training, her positive attitude made for training days to be something we looked forward to. She changed our lives and for that I am forever thankful.
We've had more than a dozen sessions now with Elina to help with our TWO mini schnauzer puppies. she has been so helpful, and their progress on potty training, impulse control, and walking so good now!!

Kristen is amazing!!! She is incredibly sweet and patient. You can tell she loves what she does! Chester absolutely loves her! She really knows how to keep him challenged and motivated every time. She understands your needs and always finds the best way to teach your dog and achieve the goals while making the training process fun for your puppy, for you, and if you have kids it is a great way to get them involved. Crown Dog Training is the best of the best!!!! My dog (golden doodle 6 years old) is extremely anxious and fearful which has resulted in leash aggression and other unwanted behaviors. Before Crown Dog Training, I had hired a behaviorist, two other dog trainers, and even sent my dog away to bootcamp for 2 weeks. Unfortunately, nothing worked. I had given up and was just “getting by” when Luna started to become fearful of my baby when she started crawling. I knew I really needed help, but wasn’t sure what else to try. Then came Crown Dog Training and Tiara and they changed our lives. Not only did Luna and I learn how to better communicate and modify her behavior together, but I watched her gain confidence and blossom into an overall happier dog. It has been a true joy and privilege to work with Tiara. I cannot recommend or thank Crown enough!
